Ready to show off your design chops? We've curated three exciting challenges to choose from which will test your creativity and innovation. Each challenge focuses on a specific core element, from creating a nature-inspired sanctuary to designing a multi-sensory living space. Choose the challenge that inspires you the most to showcase your skills. Push yourselves to create unique, unforgettable designs that balance form, function, and creativity.

#1. The Nature-Infused Sanctuary

Room: Master Bedroom

Theme: Harmony

Tagline: Bring Nature back home!

Brief: The nature-inspired master bedroom should evoke a feeling of harmony, creating a balanced and restorative space that nurtures the person's connection to the natural world. You are asked to design a master bedroom that brings the beauty and tranquillity of nature indoors. This could include the use of organic materials, colours, textures, and even sounds, creating an immersive and rejuvenating retreat.

#2. The Sustainable Luxury Retreat

Room: Guest Bedroom

Theme: Serenity

Tagline: Unwind in style, Mindful of earth

Brief: The eco-friendly luxurious bedroom should evoke a feeling of serenity, providing a calming and peaceful atmosphere that allows the person to relax and recharge You must design an eco-friendly, luxurious bedroom for a high-end residence, focusing on sustainability and innovation. You are encouraged to use sustainable materials, energy-efficient lighting, and creative solutions for maximizing space and functionality. The room should reflect a balance of luxury, comfort, and environmental consciousness.

#3. The Multi-Sensory Living Space

Room: Living Room

Theme: Immersion

Tagline: Awaken your senses!

Brief: The living room should evoke a sense of immersion, engaging all five senses and drawing the person into a captivating and enriching experience. You are asked to creatively incorporate sensory elements that cater to each sense – sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell – to create an immersive, unforgettable experience. This could include, for example, a statement fireplace, soothing lights, a bespoke audio system, tactile materials, and aromatherapy elements.

Instructions are as follows:

  • A writeup laying out your pre-design thinking, considerations and highlights of your creation

  • The Design is to be submitted in the following formats-

    • Floor plan(showing Space Layout) using Sketches/AutoCad

    • Mood Board containing furniture, Accessories and material details

  • In case you feel the need to include a 3D render to do justice to your creation, please go ahead.

  • You may include jpegs, Pdf, Videos

  • Visual appeal and design aesthetics

  • Presentation quality

  • Authority over the conception of design and process (To be gauged from the writeup)

  • Consideration of human emotions and human interactions(To be gauged from the writeup)
